Gyaru Slumber Party ♡(>ᴗ•) | Lookbook

Hello Beauties~

     Time to unveil more behind the scene photos from the latest Papillon magazine!  I'm still calling it a lookbook because the premise is still the same.  I want a place to really showcase my content.  You only get so much space on one page.  And sometimes you just want to share every detail and shot you took.  Today I will be sharing shots from the Papillon Slumber Party spread!

     Firstly can I just take a moment to thank the editing team?!  This page turned out SUPER cute! ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡  I had no idea I'd get my own page either!  It was a very pleasant surprise and one of the many reasons why I cannot wait to get my physical copy.

     When I was assigned the pajama spread, I was so giddy!  It's such a cute concept and I had so many sets to choose from.  I went with a pink crushed velvet set from eBay (it's the same one sold on Fashion Nova for less, you're welcome) and paired it with a satin robe.

     The slumber party shoot was so much fun!  I wish I had more room to shoot in my actual bedroom, but I just used an open space and tossed some plushies in (´∀｀).

     My plushies are my children, and I love them very much! (҂ `з´ )  (not that anyone cared to know lol)  Now let's talk makeup!!!

     A VERY good makeup day if you ask me.  I adored these lashes!  They're also featured on the "Our Favorites" page.

I should really buy a new pair!  (ﾉω･､)

     I wish I could recall the eyeshadow palettes I used to create this look (pien~ T__T).  But I do know I'm wearing the Liz Lisa top I was gifted by Kieli~ ♡  I did a quick change to take these selfies for the model intro.  We love an efficient gal, because we don't waste makeup (lol).

     Did you enjoy the Papillon Slumber Party spread?  Everyone had their own style, it was adorable seeing it all come together.  Danielle's was my absolute favorite, she had the perfect princess setup!  I have just one more post about volume 3 to go!  See you next post~

Lookbook: Day To Night 🌙

Hello Cuties~

     For some time I've yearned to share these photos, and the time has finally come!  The last issue of Papillon released in March.  If you missed it, visit this post (and the link to read the magazine is here).

     It's been a while since I've done a Lookbook post!  I'm so excited to share this one with you all!  This one is going to be a little different from my previous Lookbooks because this was a Beauty Edition of Papillon.  Coordinates weren't the focal point of this magazine; it was more about makeup this go-around!  You know I couldn't help but prepare coords too.  But enough blabbing, onto my first look.

     When it comes to this look, I shocked myself!  Both, in the moment of taking these photos, and seeing the final results.  I recall feeling like THIS was my best work.  I was extremely proud of it, and honestly I still am.  When I was assigned to be in the "Day to Night" segment, I assumed a coordinate was required as well (lol).  The models were asked to show a good example of converting a daytime look, into a fun night out look.

     Bear in mind these were taken two years ago, so my skills weren't what they are now. (¯▿¯||;)

     It's clear I really loved the "night out" look.  When I bought this skirt, this is the first outfit I envisioned.  In the end I created a very chic and sexy Onee Gyaru look!

     For the "night" version, I added iridescent glitter on the inner corner and lower lashes.  And for the lips, I switched my plain gloss for a berry lipstain.

     So what do you think of my Day to Night look?  I would love to give this concept another try.  I have the confidence that I can produce a better makeup look.
