My Mercari Haul 💖

Hey Cuties~

     I didn't forget about sharing my recent Mercari haul!  I've just been lazy (lol)  But here's everything!

     It all came packaged very well!  I took the packaging off of the purse before this picture because I was WAY too excited.  

     The box was huge, I'm not sure of the weight (would that be documented on buyee?).  But any-who, I tried on everything and girrrlll . . .  I'm grateful for safety shorts but it's not always enough!  .･ﾟﾟ･(／ω＼)･ﾟﾟ･.  All of the two piece sets have safety shorts made into them, however they're still extremely short which is what I expected.  So I will have to do some alterations to fit my rump.

     Also none of the items were damaged or stained, my mirror is just a dirty mess (lmao).  The gingham MA*RS dress fits me perfectly, I won't have to add anything to it.  It's the perfect length, no exposed cheeks!  I've already been wearing my MA*RS denim jacket (lol).

     My only issue is that the MA*RS coat is more coral / peachy than I anticipated.   I thought it was baby pink online (-ω-、) but it's all good.  I may or may not sell it.  

     I thought the d.i.a. belt would hit me the hardest, but the purse really took my breath away ٩(♡ε♡)۶.  But don't get me wrong, I'm madly in love with my belt too!!  Overall very happy with my haul.  Can't wait to buy more 🙃!

Scent of a Flower

 
Hello Cuties~

     Last week I decided to doll up for our hang out day.  Whenever I do this, Prince asks if I've taken any pictures of myself and the answer is always "no".  So we went to the park!

     It was a really hot and sunny day, so I figured I'd bring my new parasol.  As for my look, I was going for 2012-ish himekaji.  Basically, back when denim was more prevalent in himekaji and pink wasn't the focus color.

     More than anything I wanted to hide under the parasol, but it made for a super shadowy photo.  (￣ ￣|||)

     You know ya girl had to match even with the face mask~  I love doing that (lmao) I have so many at this point!

     Side note, would you believe I got this top for $5 ?!?  I grabbed like 4 shirts like this one just to have a variety of lacy tops.  Some of them were even $3 !

     It was nice to just prance around the park while Prince took pictures.  That's all for this post, lovelies~

My Melody Sisters 🍒 Twinning w/ Reila!

 

     Hello Cuties!  I'm so giddy as I write this, I got the chance to twin with the lovely and radiant Reila!  You can say I was stunned when she asked me if I would like to join her.  I said yes and couldn't wait to hatch some ideas for the collaboration.  Once the theme and pieces were determined, I was eager to see how it all came together.

     So happy I got the opportunity to collab with Reila!! She's such a sweetheart and I love her work!  I'm just such a fan of her edits and her style~  (I hope to do this again girlie! ♥)

     Of course I took tons of pictures, I felt super cute in this ensemble.  I've worn this dress maybe three times now, but this is definitely my favorite coordinate by far!  The accessories, the makeup, everything came together very well.

     What do you think Cuties?  I really love the styling of the dress this time.  I've never worn it off the shoulder, and with the beret and makeup there's a "vintage" feel.  I think I need more of this look (lol).  (´-ω-` "

 🍒Close-Up🍒

     For the eyes I used The New Nude Huda palette and the Jackie Aina ABH palette.  I paired (what I think is) Toyoepin lashes with Decorative Playgirl no. 16 bottom lashes.  And my lenses, I'm still trying to get off my butt and do a review on . . . but they're from ttdeye.

     Face is mostly Juvia's Place (foundation, concealer and blush).  I'm really loving the foundation stick guys!  I contoured with a mixture of the Saharan blush palette and Fenty's Sun Stalk'r bronzer.  And I topped this look off with my current favorite lipstick from Colourpop: "Sarah".

     I haven't done a look this sweet in a long time, I really miss it!  What do you think of our twin look?

My Holiday Look | Papillon Magazine

Hello Cuties~

     If you read my last post or happen to follow any of the Papillon models on social media, you know that the Holiday Lookbook has arrived!  (I'm really begging for this one to make it to print! It's just perfect.)

     I did share my own spread form the magazine in my last post, so here I want to share my favorite shots from my photoshoot.  My sister and I had a lot of fun playing with "locations" and poses.  So I couldn't wait to share more with you all!  I also want to talk a little bit about my makeup in this post as well.

     Here's the makeup look, Babes~  I've been struggling for a while to embrace the "no lens" makeup; but I feel this was my best look without circle lenses.

     The models were asked to provide close-up shots for the Gyaru Transformation page.  A great idea by the Papillon team to showcase everyone's makeup before, and after lashes!  And unlike some mean girls, we share our lash deets~ (¬‿¬ )

     Now let's get into the photoshoot!  As I said, my sister and I tried to give different scenery in some shots.  But being that everyone's still in quarantine, and I didn't feel safe photographing in busier areas, we stuck to our neighborhood.  For the limited spots we had, I'm pretty happy with how things turned out!

     A personal fave.  I just love the "catalog vibes" I'm giving (lol).

     Y'all, it was pretty warm when I took these photos.  I couldn't handle the coat for long periods of time! xD  But I tried to keep it cute!

"Say Cheese ~"

     Remember back when I said I wanted to get better at posing for pictures?  I think I'm finally in a comfortable positions for photoshoots!  I recall saying squat poses were my favorite but hard to replicate without looking / feeling silly.  It's a concern of the past now!

     There's just something about this picture.  I love how effortless this looks and feels.  I'm just really proud of myself for not stressing and just enjoying myself this time.

     Using my surroundings.  Definitely helps when I need an idea for a pose!  The tree was pretty fun to play around with.

     More catalog Gal shots, plus a Beyoncé moment for ya!

     I wish I could share the entire photoshoot here, but we took about 50 - 60 shots.  It was hard to narrow down my favorites, which is good!  Usually I'm not too satisfied with my work, however I can say both my sister and I deserve a pat on the back.
