Bloom : Trying new things (coord, make + nails)

Hello Cuties~

     We're finally getting somewhere~  I get to talk about February!  I did a lot of pampering and treating myself.  I mean . . . the universe wanted me to do it (lol).

     A good chunk of my gets from Aliexpress.  I need more slogan tanks / tees for my tracksuits and y2k looks! 

Treated myself to some bath melts and a face mask~ ♥

And used those nails from Aliexpress!

     Super cute, right?!  I wanted to find a shorter length I could potentially work in too.  I think these were good, but I could go shorter for work.  I actually cured these press-ons with my polygel kit.  I fortified my right hand with the power of God . . . left hand, not so much.  ꉂ (´∀｀)ʱªʱªʱª  I think I'll stick to nail glue, the polygel was too much work (lol).

     The next day, I got dressed up~  Thinking back on the details of this outfit, it has impeccable timing with the start of Spring!  At the time, it felt a lot like a nice Spring day.

     Y'all, I hope I don't lose my mojo, but I've loved how my makeup has turned out as of recent.  You know when you become idle, you lose the practice.  Also I've begun to purposely darken my facial moles with eyeliner.  Usually I let my foundation "cover" them, but I rather like my moles and want some of them to show now.  (Not all of them though, I have A LOT.)

     I couldn't wait to try out the new cluster lashes I got!  I honestly love both the uppers and the lowers.  I feared the lower lashes would be barely visible, but I was pleasantly surprised!  They aren't so whisper thin, that they're undetectable.  I also really like the v shape.  As for the upper lashes, I think I used 4 clusters.  I like this for a softer everyday look.  I'm curious how they'll look stacked.

     Did some self-care at the salon before my date.  And I couldn't stop admiring my nails in the sunlight~

     Finally met up with my boyfriend for lunch and boba.  We tried a newer spot to Magazine St. : Gong cha!

     I wanted something light and refreshing so I got the aiyu jelly lemon tea.  Also hellooo, couldn't pass up the limited time heart cup.

     We had Vietnamese po'boys at Banh Mi Boys, but I scarfed that down before even thinking about taking a picture.  (｡o_o｡)""

     For the rest of the day we were two couch potatoes.  Playing video games and watching Friends.  Now that it is officially Spring, I need some inspo!  I may do that post next. 🤔

Moon Prism Power!･ﾟ’★,｡･:*:･ﾟ’☆

     Hello Cuties!  I'm still trying to play catchup here on the blog.  Last event I blogged about was my vacation in June, but at the end of July my friends and I attended Mechacon!  You might remember back in 2019 was my first time visiting Mechacon.  The next one was supposed to be in 2020, but got postponed to this year.  And sadly this convention would be the very last go-around for Mechacon.

     My friends decided we'd cosplay as sailor scouts this time!  I decided to be Sailor Moon ♥

     Sadly Prince could not be convinced to be Tuxedo Mask (lol).  But we all met up at the convention and the fun began!  Prince and I had actually been there the previous day, so this was day 2 of the con!  Look at me and my cuties~

     We had a blast, I want to attend more cons with my girls~!  This picture was taken right after the Sailor Scout meetup.  Everyone dressed as characters from the show met up in this lobby for photos.  I'm sad some people missed out on the meetup, there were 2 other sailor moons I saw that day but they didn't make it for the photo-op. (  ;__;)  I really wanted to meet them (lol). 

     The funniest thing about this, there were some My Hero Academia x Sailor Moon mashup cosplays!  And one of them happens to be an old college friend of mine.  His cosplay was hella good.

     We were getting pretty hungry around this time.  So I tossed out the idea to stop by a pizza place.  And you better believe we went IN cosplay.  I think a lot of people on the streets were confused, but we got some compliments (lmao)!  We didn't eat much for lunch because we had dinner reservations at my new fave bar / restaurant:  Beachbum Barry's Latitude 29!  I ended up changing this time.  Surprisingly, my makeup was still poppin'!

     I tried a really dramatic droop this time (well, dramatic for me).  What do you think?  I also put my Sasha Bratz eyeshadow palette to use!  Absolutely loving the colors in there.

     Beachbum's food and drinks are SO good y'all.  I didn't get pics of the food because we were ravenous and destroyed everything (lmao).  But here's some drinks~

     That last one changed my life; it's minty, and somehow smooth and sweet.
