Teenage Dirtbag (but make it Gal ™)

 

Hello Cuties~

     I cannot believe it's December!  November flew by, and yet it feels like my girls' day with Katie was ages ago.  Some weeks ago we decided to dress up and do what we do best : shop ! 

ヽ(∀° )人( °∀)ノ I told her my colors for the day were red and black (so she wore the same).  I couldn't wait to wear my newest items.

     My mom said I looked like my high school self, I took that as the highest compliment.  I was nowhere near as good with makeup back then, but you get the picture.  It wasn't a phase, Mom~ 

     The weather changed to very frigid temperatures since my last outing.  So it was time to pull out the scarves and coats.  But I was determined to wear my new Skelanimal pieces despite the top being cropped (lol).  And I need to sew some buttons on this coat!

     I put majority of my focus on the outfit so I decided to keep the makeup rather simple.  Well as simple as Gyaru can be (lol).

     By simple, I meant little to no eyeshadow / colors.  The only colors used were Stila liquid glitter for the under-eyes, and dark eyeshadow for my lower lash-line.  Alright, I'm ready for my closeup~

     Yuuuh do you see this?!  I think I can say this is my best work!  Absolutely obsessed with the shape and lash placement.  And the lenses complement the look so well.  The lenses worn here are Candy Magic Gossip Brown.

     Safe to say that I was feeling myself.  I look like the perfect little mall rat~  Speaking of the mall, that's where we spent most of our time together.  (Shocker.)

     I didn't buy anything in Sephora but I dropped some money in Hollister and Forever21.  Did a bit of Christmas shopping actually, but I couldn't help buying for myself.

     After the mall we had a much needed girl-talk over dinner and cocktails.

     Katie's bf asked her what she was up to and she snapped this picture of me to send to him (lol).  She says it's her favorite photo of me now.  I look so mischievous hehe~

     I got compliments at the mall and from the waiter too.  It filled my teenage heart with glee!  The waiter even joined me in saying "it's not a phase, it was never just a phase".  I feel styles like this will always appeal to me.  And while I didn't have the space or money to express myself fully as a teen, I can certainly make up for it now.
