Sweets For My Sweet 💌

 Hello Cuties~

     Finally posting about Valentine's Day!  A day filled with unexpected surprises~  Originally I thought I'd be staying home because I assumed my boyfriend would be extremely busy with work.  But his schedule cleared up and he had the day free!  So with nothing planned I just tossed some makeup and clothes on.

     It may not be obvious here, but I actually hated this look (lol).  I mentioned in the last post that it was extremely cold at that time.  But by Valentine's Day it grew very humid and warm.  (The weather is insane here.)  I planned to wear my ma*rs sweater set but that was NOT happening in this heat.  So I threw this together last minute. 

     Surprise, surprise I didn't like this either (lmao).  However I love this lipstick!  Nyx High Shine gloss in the shade "Stay Stuntin" if anyone was curious.  

     Maybe I'm losing my mind.  Maybe it's not as bad as I think it is? (＾＾＃)

     Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle + brown sugar and fig  =  intoxicating & sweet  ♥  Should I include my perfume of the day during my outfit posts in the future? (¯ . ¯٥)

     Anyway, onto what we did that day!  We got Mochinut donuts and Korean corndogs because they had a V-day special.

     And I tried my hand at the gashapon again, this time for a variety of Hello Kitty merch.

I won Lunar New Year Kitty!

     If those donuts weren't enough sweets, I had an order to pick up from Nola Cookie Co. too!  I took their business card on my visit to King Cake Connections where I tried their Fat Tuesday cookie.  I was hooked!  I had to try more!

     The best part of my day was our impromptu gift exchange. ❣  I took the idea from tiktok.  We would buy each other something pink, red, and white and one edible item.  It was really funny shopping at the same time because we were not allowed to peak at each other's baskets.  I followed the rules of course . . . Prince on the other hand?  (ᓀ ᓀ)

     He broke all of the rules!  He admitted he peaked in my basket, and he bought way more than we agreed to (lol)!  I forgive him though . . . because these are really cute gifts.

     Like are you KIDDING ME (｡T ω T｡)!!! Hello Kitty jewelry set?!  It's more rose gold in person and so pretty~  Who knew Five & Below carried so much cute Hello Kitty merch?  (＠_＠)  

     I know it may not seem like much to some, but I appreciate everything he got me.  It was cute to hear his reasoning behind each gift.  I wouldn't change a single thing about our Valentine's Day~

     I was also able to exchange some gifts with my friend Katie.

This crazy keychain keeps me grounded at work ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^)ﾟ｡

And I get to carry the sweetest message with me wherever I go~

     How did you spend your Valentine's / Galentine's Day?  And an even better question for my foodies, did you indulge in "Taco Tuesday"?  We sure did xD we actually ended our day with tacos from our favorite Mexican restaurant.
