Sunset Make | Colourpop Swatch Video! ♥

Hello cutie patooties~

Last night I got to editing and actually finished the swatch video before going to bed!
And I posted it earlier today~

As you may be able to see, I've changed where I film!

*Details

I got to use 3 of the eyeshadows from my mini Colourpop haul for this look!

I believe I used:

slim fit, making moves, and criss cross

By this being solely a swatch video, I didn't get to share my thoughts much.

While the shades are beautiful and the color payoff is great,
there is quite a lot of fall out with these eyeshadows.
But I expected such when I purchased these (from other's reviews and simply because pressed powders tend to do this).

At the moment they seem to work well with wet brushes if you really want to pack on the color and intensity.  They blend beautifully ok!
That may be my favorite quality to them.
Plus the shimmers are superb, as expected Colourpop always delivers with their shimmer eyeshadows.  The shimmer shades are very vibrant and velvety to the touch!

SO overall I like the eyeshadows, but I think I love their super shock shadow formula more.
The matte pressed powders are nice but tend to blend away super easily.  You have to work for it if you want defined colors and details!

Speaking of Christmas Eve, I baked red velvet cream cheese sandwich cookies~

Looks a little messy because of the frosting and powdered sugar, but they were tasty!
At work we made s'mores over the fire pit and wore "ugly christmas sweaters"

Despite it being "the holidays" I couldn't help but shop a little.  I went to Ulta and picked up two Makeup Revolution items!

I bought this with the idea to use as a "topper" for my colourpop highlighter!  Hopefully it'll work as planned~

♡ Blush Palette "Blush Queen" ♡

the shades are a lot more vibrant in real life!  I've been wanting more blush colors so I'll play around with this.  It's so shimmery so it's like a highlighter blush mashup!

With my new laptop and tripod, I'm thinking of working up to making a youtube channel.
My friends tell me I should do makeup tutorials.  I love the idea of having a channel, but I'll admit it, I'm nervous about it

✨It's Poppin' : Colourpop Haul!✨

Helloo~

I wanted this post to be up last week but work kept me away ;;
the busiest time of the year at work is approaching and I'm stressing but I got new makeup so who cares!
I also wanted to wait and make this post after I got my new lenses buuuut I haven't received them yet
(一。一;;）

~Onto the haul~

I ordered 6 items on Oct. 26th and got my package on the 29th!

（〇o〇；） ！！

I'm still in awe over how fast that went lol
There were also 2 promotions going on where you got a free highlighter when you spent $30 also free domestic shipping for 48 hours~ A day full of winnings!
Here's what I got:
- lumière (lip liner)
- wolfie (ultra glossy lip / metallic)
- honey b (ultra glossy lip / crème)
- brady (super shock shadow / matte)
- drift (super shock shadow / pearlized)
- candyman (super shock cheek highlighter / pearlized)

When I opened the box there were pamphlets and information on their new and old products. I like that they give you tips on how to get the best use out of their products.

 But my favorite thing (apart from the actual makeup) is the cute message they always include!

 Beneath the cards, booklets and lots of foam pieces are my new babies~~

 Originally I wanted to get the lumière "lippie stix" but sadly it was sold out ;; so I settled for its lip liner. I figured since the color is the same and the consistency is smooth and creamy like a lipstick, there wouldn't be much of a difference.

 I was soooo excited to try their "ultra glossy lip" lip-glosses!

Legit how i felt about these glosses lol they're so pigmented! I picked 1 in crème finish and 1 in metallic finish

The eyeshadows and highlighters~

So far I've played with brady, drift, and honey b! I want to get more matte eyeshadows now, but I can't stay away from shimmer shades ;;

Other than the colourpop purchases, I finally snagged a Milani Amore Matte Lip Crème! I got one in the shade "Beautiful"~
such a fitting name because omg guys it's such a beautiful color! 

I can't wait to incorporate it into my looks now that it's fall! It's funny because I used to not like red lipstick because I thought I didn't look nice in them. I still want to try more shades from this line! But this was literally the second to last one in the store I went to and for some reason every other store that sells Milani doesn't have the Amore Matte lipsticks
