Recently, one thing has been on my mind . . .
For some, nail salons are not the most ideal way to get fabulous nails; so they're turning to an easy alternative. Press-on nails have improved a ton from what we knew as kids. They were pretty simple and plain. Eventually they progressed. I remember a few cutesy sets I had back in college! I thought they were the closest I'd ever get to those fancy nail sets I'd see Japanese Gyaru get.
Keep in mind that all of the listings have the option to customize the nail shape! They can be long, short, pointy, square, or rounded off! Happy shopping lovies~
I've never purchased hand made press-on nails. But with everyone showing off their lovely sets, I started to seek out some online shops! Reila has a blog post up about where to find Gyaru-esque nails. From there I ventured out to other shops and found some I really wanted to share with you all!

press-on nails with stickers are the only option I have rn with my current job. If I can wear them for longer, I can make them hold on for longer by pushing it under my cuticles while putting them on. The cuticles hold them like real nails until they grow out.
ReplyDeleteI've been watching videos on youtube about prolonging press-on nails and I noticed that tip! I've got to try that next time!! And *sigh* I understand the job part, it just doesn't work out. Nails are allowed, but it's just not practical for my job :(

Press on nails are the only way I can have gyaru nails now so this post it perfect <3 I love the second nail set love my melody.

ReplyDeleteHow do you keep on your nails? I bought the stickers so the glue doesn't ruin the ones I have but I haven't used them cause I'm afraid they'll fall off Dx
I've actually never used the sticker tabs before but I noticed some of these sets come with them! (If I pick one of those I'll let you know how that goes lol) But for now I just use nail glue. Usually I pick the kind you can brush on like nail polish.
DeleteI've recently been watching some installation / care tip videos on youtube for press-on nails. But haven't practiced anything yet. It amazes me that some people can get their press-ons to last for days!
