I ♥ Coco! | Banba + fruit inspired look 🥥

Hello Cuties!

     I noticed a post somewhere, maybe it was instagram? Facebook?  Where a gyarusa did makeup / looks based off their favorite drinks!  (Was it a gyarusa or did I make that up lmao . . . I'm getting old forgive me.)  Lea thought it would be a great idea to do fruits!  I've always wanted to do a fruit inspired makeup look.  I've only done it once before, my "peachy keen" look!

     It proved to be pretty challenging to think of a fruit since there were a lot of us participating, so eventually I thought of coconuts!  Seemed basic at first but then I thought of the white portion in combination with brown.  I have white eyeliner I never get to use, so why not!

     Funny thing is I ended up scrapping the original image I had in mind.  I imagined I'd use my white liquid eyeliner and do some cool design.  But after thinking about the color scheme again, I realized it was the perfect opportunity to try out some old school gyaru makeup!  I've been trying to work up the courage to try Banba and totally went for it!

     Be gentle with me y'all it's my first attempt with Banba makeup (lol).  I've definitely joined the hype of resurgence of Banba gyaru!  It's my favorite old school makeup style.  I didn't have many model images to use as inspo.  But the gyaru comm itself served as of inspiration as well.  I used Nene's signature eye makeup as a guide for myself and I actually like how it came out!

     For a first attempt this wasn't too bad, right?  ρ(- ω -、)💦 I definitely want to try Banba again, maybe next time with a full coordinate.  For this coconut inspired look, I went with this super cute leopard mini dress.  I figured this would match the colors as well as represent the fuzzy exterior to coconuts.
