Hello Cuties~

     Took me long enough to update, right? (lol)  Since my "beach episode" Kelsey had her wedding~  It was October 20th and what a beautiful day it turned out to be!

     They had an unplugged ceremony, so we refrained from taking photos and videos during.  It was lovely; outdoors, surrounded by trees as a string duo and pianist set the tone.  Lots of emotions during the bride's walk and light moments like her dog running down the aisle (lol).  The reception was indoors and gooorgeous.  That's where we found the photo booth.  Too many cute props to choose from~  But I chose the prince and princess crowns and "my better half" sign.  They printed us copies and we got digital ones!  

Their wedding cake toppers are actually them (੭ ˊ^ˋ)੭ ♡

     The food and the vibes were amazing, but I didn't take photos of the food spread.  I recorded the party's entrance and the couple's first dance.  They danced to Bruno Mars "Die with a Smile" 🥹.  And as guests were brought to tears, the newly weds were in their own world just laughing with each other.  I did snag a few video captures from their Secondline around the venue.

     Loved their personalized bride & groom umbrellas!  Secondlines are New Orleans tradition at just about any celebration now.  In the past it was only for funerals where a brass band and the family & friends commemorate the person's life.  At weddings it's to celebrate the start of a new life together.

     I also desperately wanted to document Kelsey's iconic wardrobe change.  The theme is glitter and bows!  Which followed her actual wedding gown.  It was a ballgown with a shimmery overskirt, puff sleeves and the cutest bow on the back!  Isn't she gorgeous?! ♥

     The party just kept going, just a few days later Chase had a Halloween party!  We were invited and  excited to see the newlyweds and all our friends again.  

     We went as Velma and Shaggy!  There were so many cool costumes!  I loved that there was a costume contest.  I voted for Chase as "yassified" Steve Harvey (lmfao).  She and Kris were hilarious.  Kris came as Pitbull (ᗒᗜᗕ)՛̵̖.  I don't have a pic but Kelsey and her hubbie were Spongebob and Patrick when they had the baby clam (lmao)!!  Kels did an amazing job with making the baby clam.

Chair swing & blacklight made the coolest picture ever~  I hope they do this party every year because I can't wait for next year!!

But we still found ways to enjoy our time together.  A day of shopping and eating is plenty fun for us.  I feel like I'm his life size doll some times (lol).  He encourages me to try things on all the time.  Altar'd State had a bogo sale for just about anything : sweaters, skirts, jackets, dresses.

For some reason I was really attracted to bordeaux 💕

     Can you see how happy I am in this dress?  This is what originally got me in the dressing room.

     The second dress that stole my heart 𖹭~  LOOK at the back bow!?  This fits like a dream~~~  I cannot wait to wear this on Christmas day!  I bought the 2nd & 3rd dress, one being 50% off.  I hope everyone has an Altar'd State near because a good chunk of their inventory is so Liz Lisa coded.  Anywho after the mall we visited Daiwa sushi and boy did we pick a good day to go!  Our waitress told us about some limited specials they had imported from Japan and we jumped all over that.

     A tuna trio (˶´ཀ`˶)  I remember she talked about bluefin tuna.  I can't remember if all three were.  But omg so yummy~  My favorite was the super fatty tuna on the right.  But NOTHING topped this warm scallop nigiri.  The sauce, the duck fat ontop?!  Crazy good.

     We tried their weekly special rolls too.  I remember the one with the seared fish on top was best.  *sigh*  I want Daiwa again.

Denim Day ᯓ★

     Just an excuse to post that I finally wore these boots . . . they hurt (lmao).  We had a "spirit week" at work and one theme was denim day!

     I've been working so hard this week.  I need a break ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀)༄  I think I'm going to take a personal day tomorrow.  I might get some Christmas shopping done.  It's been fun talking to you~
