Vampyre ♡ Girlfriend (Goshikku fit)

Happy October & Happy Autumn, Cuties!

I did something I've never done before!  I'm honestly shocked it took me this long to do my first Goshikku Gyaru look.

Sometime in September, Prince and I discovered a quaint little vampire boutique and café Downtown.  I enjoyed the boutique so much that I decided to bring my friend Katie to experience it herself.  And we wanted to make it a full day of fun!

We thought it would be cute to have a sort of "dress code" for the day.  Katie and I love Autumn and all things spooky.  So we thought it would be fun to dress on the alternative and gothic side.

I mostly used the Colourpop "Gather Round Sisters" palette, and a Stila liquid eyeshadow.  I think the makeup style and colors meshed well with the grey contacts.  And I'm so happy with my lip combo!  I used Colourpop's "I am Beautiful" on top Ruby Kisses black liquid lipstick.

I thought it would be super cute to do picture edits like I've seen on tumblr.  Isn't it Amihamu back when she worked for Fernopaa?  (correct me if I'm wrong!)

Back to our adventure!  We met downtown and started off our day with lunch at Felipe's.  Prince had the day off too so he joined us.  After that we walked the streets of the French Quarter with our end goal being the vampire boutique.

Of course we hit a few places up on the way.  Had a grand time in a lingerie / adult 🔞 shop and sephora too.  Prince and Katie even got frozen Irish coffees to beat the heat.

Eventually we made it!  Boutique du Vampyre 🖤

I adore the funny signs on their door like "We're Open . . . for victims".  Like I mentioned before, it's a small shop, but it's packed full of so much cool stuff!  Next time I'll take a photo of their jewelry case.  On my 1st visit back in September, I purchased the COOLEST necklace in the world; which I ended up wearing for my 2nd visit.

I bought the very last one!  The artist is actually local and that both surprised me and filled me with joy.  I sometimes forget we have a culture down here for fantasy things like vampires.  But any-who, here are the collective goodies I got from both visits.

Some awesome spooky artwork, sticker sheets, kreepsville pins and a matte lipstick!
I got the shade "Lilith".  It has what looks like gold glitter inside.  I haven't worn it yet, but I hope the glitter is visible on the lips!

Bat sunglasses that I ended up wearing on this day bc the sun didn't care about my desire to be goth (lol).

I could not help myself with this purchase.  As soon as I saw it, I thought of the spellbook from Hocus Pocus.  It's not exactly the same but . . . c'mon there's an eyeball on it!!  It's actually just a blank notebook and I'm not quite sure what I plan to fill it with.

There was just one more shop I wanted to show Katie, so I dragged them with me to Kulture Vulture.  I was determined to buy a new purse to match my future alternative looks.  I definitely want to go back to buy some Tripp clothing too.  It was hard to choose a bag, but after much deliberation this is what I settled on.
A Sourpuss coffin purse!
I carried it for the rest of the day too~

By this time, we've made it all the way to the French Market.  I had been holding out on boozy drinks all day just to get a frozen one from the Gazebo Cafe.  I didn't even manage to take a picture before I devoured it.  It was well deserved after four hours of adventuring!

*Prince snapped some funny candids of me chatting w/ Katie

Prince and I parted ways with Katie; and after dinner we made one last stop, where I met a "new friend".

I think he's handsome ~

So that ends my day of adventuring.  What a great way to bring in the month of October!  Three cheers for my first Goshikku attempt!  And although my friend isn't into Gyaru, it's nice to have someone who likes to dress up with me.  I had a blast!  I hope you enjoyed reading this post (´・ᴗ・ ` ).
