"The Proposal"

 

Hello Cuties~

     I don't understand what it is about the month of May, but it's always comes packing HEAT!  While I  hide away from the waves of humidity, I'll blog about what's been going on since the engagement.

     Back in February I got a much needed haircut to rid myself of damaged, dead hair.  Flash forward to now, I finally decided to wear my hair out without extensions.  So I went back to the salon to have them wash and style it!

     I've been trying my best to keep up with responding to people.  I continuously get congratulated at work ( ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶) ~  I've been researching EVERYTHING.  I downloaded the app  "The Knot" and it's really helpful.  Lately I've been feeling like such an adult sending out emails and responses to vendors.  Other than that, I've been doing what I do best : shopping & eating out. 

     I know what you're thinking, Ami . . . another perfume?  Listen.  When Jackie Aina announced she'd release these I KNEW I had to have one.  I was instantly hooked by "I Am Her".  Needed a liiiittle convincing with "NDA" but I took no chances and bought both (lol).  "Hard To Get" will be put on the wishlist for now.  And "You Remind Me" I can't honestly remember what it smelled like.  Compared to the rest, I didn't feel anything for the scent.

     HA!  So I only went into Bath & Bodyworks to bum some lotion for my dry hands.  And they just so happened to have some insane sale.  I walked straight into that one (lol).  

My mini Sephora haul~

     I Am Her!  The scent I fell in love with~  It's a sweet gourmand fragrance and let me tell you, that raspberry?!  SO good ♥  The scent is warm and I think I love it more for warm weather (I'll try it in cooler weather and see how that goes).  None of Forvr Mood is featured on fragrantica's site, so I tried to mimic their "notes chart".  Notes were mentioned on Jackie's website.

     NDA 🗣  One word : alluring!  When I read the notes online I felt like it would be right up my alley.  My friend said it smells very sexy (lol).  I thought it would be best for fall and winter, but honestly I think this could be a year round scent!  Signature worthy!!  Wedding day worthy~? 👀

I joined my mom and sister for a shopping & lunch day.

     I told my mom I was craving seafood boil and luckily my sister is always down for some snow crabs!  I just stick to crawfish and shrimp, crab is too much work (lmao).

Absolutely LOVE these for work and play!

     Got some necessities at TJ Maxx (and spoiled myself a bit).  Like how could I say no to these precious earrings?!  (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)♡

And lastly, I thrifted this practically new purse for $4.99! 

     Since then I've been trying to cut down on spending.  I may go out with friends every so often.  But here is my proposal : Starting May 1st, I'm completely cutting out shopping and food delivery.  I know it's hard to just "window shop", but I have no choice now.  Unless it's for the wedding, I won't buy!

I'm going to regret that statement huh . . .
