My 2nd Hime Attempt ⁺˚⋆୭🌸⋆⁺

     Thrilled to say I attempted Himegyaru for the second time!  It's better (in my opinion) than my first trial.  Less theatrical (but let's remember that was the theme and point last time).  This was my look for New Years Day!  I figured, it's a new year, let's go into with a bang!

     My inspiration for this look was "classical" Himegyaru.  Mostly shop staff from brand Jesus Diamante.  Mad respect to them for making me realize it's not a sin to put black with pastels.  Also love that not everything has to be pink with them.

Decided to wear my Hello Kitty brooch~

     Closeup on the hairstyle~  I was determined to do SOMETHING.  So I went for an updo with a ribbon hair claw.  You know I can't do an updo without curls framing my face (lol).  Besides, it's kind of like the hime cut / bangs.  ¯\_(ᵕ—ᴗ—)_/¯ (....right?)

     You can see a bit of my eyeshadow work here.  I used colourpop's Twilight palette!  The cool tones and glitter were perfect for this look.

     What do I think I could improve on after this look?  I'd say more accessories.  More bows, like the detachable kind that I could pop onto my boots for example.  But other than that, I think this was a solid second try.

     Aaaooouga!! (∩˃o˂∩)♡  That's what I said to my own reflection that day.  I was utterly in love with how this turned out.  

     First of all~  The eyemakeup!  Like I mentioned, I used colourpop x Twilight palette.  I wore Motecon Baby Baby lenses ♥  Crème Shop upper lashes in "Sweetheart".  Bottom lashes are from aliexpress.  

     The usual for complexion products.  Although I think I changed my setting powder from Fenty to One Size.

After our photo taking, we went to Sushi Nami for lunch.

     Apparently I had a deathwish because I ordered this drink.  While it listed coconut liquor in its contents, I didn't think they'd put coconut shavings on the rim.  (I'm allergic 😵‍💫)  Things like Malibu don't give me a reaction so I thought I'd be good until I saw the glass (lol).

My fiancé watched on nervously as I drank (lol).

     I always manage to only get a photo of my first order.  When it comes to Sushi Nami, I turn into a ravenous beast and the phone (and my blog) are long forgotten (lmaooo)!  I need to do better.  My last two visits here I did so good!  I usually tap out on "all you can eat" early.  But I did my personal best recently and still have no photos to show.

     Then in true "us" fashion, we went to the mall.  I went to sephora and got my free birthday gift!

     OAJSODFJAWOEJF 🗣 I got it!!  Yes bitches chocolate vanilla swirl with cookie crunch please!! (Y'all remember that vine? . . nvm)  It's usually SO hard to get my hands on the fragrance freebies.  But I went in on DAY ONE of January and got mine!

     "Not a Perfume" is so pleasant on my skin!  Very "your smell, but better".  Like people would just think you smell this way naturally.  I get musk scent like many people describe during wear tests.  I don't get woody though. 

     "Juliette" is a bit underwhelming.  I think it smells generic?  Like I've smelled this somewhere before.  Like many of those celebrity made fragrances?  Do you get what I mean?  Maybe if I try it in this warmer climate I might change my mind.  But I realize the fruity note is from cherries and I really dislike cherry smell . . . 

     Inside the mall, they had a big pretty Christmas tree and I asked Prince to take pics of me.  I got shy for some reason (as I always do).  I think it's because of the people walking by and looking.  But many others were taking photos too.  As one family passed us by, the dad offered to take a photo of the both of us.  He said we make a cute couple~ (❀ˆᴗˆ)(•́ᴗ•̀✿)  It's rare that I get photos like this with him, so thank you kind stranger. ♥

     This day was filled with many pictures, smiles and conversations of what the new year would bring us.  

     Was feeling myself that evening, makeup still sitting pretty~  I swear his bathroom still has the best lighting.  Anyway, it got much colder that night and I came prepared with a changed of outfit.

     Wearing Fine Girl's velour tracksuit.  I was getting ora ora vibes so I tried to act tough.  Do you think it suits me? (/ω＼)  Whoops, I really threw off the Hime vibes didn't I?  It's fine, we love a versatile gal!
