Ami in Gyaruland: New Hair Who Dis~ (๑>؂•̀๑) [+ New Makeup Routine!]

Hello Cuties~

Let's keep this going! Early December I visited my fave hairstylist for a new look. These were my inspo :

The curls were there, but it was raining after my appointment; so they fell (pien (.‸.). Prince took me to get bubble tea and lunch after. We went to Hana Sushi, somewhere we haven't eaten since the first year we started dating. It was nice to reminisce over lunch.

Finally I had an off day to really doll up! And I made it a point to do one of my "redemption" fits. Remember a while back I did an outfit poll for my girls day w/ Stephanie? I couldn't do the outfit everyone picked because the skirt no longer fit (rip). So I vowed to recreate all of the other looks in my poll.

I tried to be tough and take photos without my jacket. But I wussed out eventually (lol). Plus the wind would not let me be great! I need to learn the k-idol bangs routine so they do not move!

As many photos as I took, this is the closest one I got. I never thought to take a closeup of my eye makeup. (womp womp) So here's a cropped version from some of the pics.

Asdjfoaij absolutely infatuated with my makeup this day! (∩˃ω˂∩) I tried a few new techniques and I think they've become staples to my gyaru makeup. For one, I finally discovered the right shades to use under my eyes for my namida bukuro! Neutral tan for the tear bags. Warm shades for the under eye!! It's crucial so I don't look insane in person (lmao). It photographs well and isn't too abrasive in real life. Also I scrolled past a reel where someone explained if your dark circles are cooled toned, you need a warm tone to cancel that color out (. . . or something like that).

So I've been putting that advice into effect. Secondly I've been using a reddish brown crayon liner under my eyes to map out my eye shape. Currently I like the elongated cat eye. Everything is tapered upwards. And if I'm feeling sparkly, I'll add glitter or shimmer on top of the tear bags with the help of NYX's glitter primer.

Third newest thing I've added to my makeup routine is nose blush. The "I'm Cold" look, "Byojaku", sickly cute, however you refer to it. I think I'm in love with it on me~ We'll see how long this lasts. I'm thinking it will only work during winter, but we shall see.

Lately my loyal lashes have been Crème "Anime Effect Lashes - Sweetheart!". I'm glad I bought 3 pairs (might have to find more somewhere). And for easy going makeup looks, I go to my cluster lower lashes from Aliexpress.

I think my look came together very well!

Now onto what we did for the day~ We were really feeling Sushi Nami that day. I was too excited when I saw their cute Christmas tree setup and the holiday themed cocktails (lol).

I ate a lot that day (lol).

I just felt like finally I look cute enough to take pictures with this great mural!

We stopped at Shake Shack for a treat, but they removed the dairy free milkshake from their menu . . . ( ｡ •̀ ᴖ •́ ｡)💢 Prince ordered some food since he didn't eat much at Sushi Nami (he was upset they changed the menu ;;). I took selfies in their good lighting while we waited (lmao).

After lunch we went Christmas shopping! Funny part is I had yet found a good gift for him. (ᵕ—ᴗ—) And isn't it the worst when you know you're supposed to be shopping for others, but all you can find is things that you want?

Literally just had a conversation with my mom about how lazy I felt one night, and I wished there was a grill cheese maker!! Like ok universe I see you!

I'm more of a sweet potato pie girl, but this cup is TOO cute!

I resisted all temptation. But I said maybe I'll go back and buy myself birthday gifts (lmfaoo). We actually ran into my mom and sister while Christmas shopping (awkwarrrd). I told them look away xD.

You know it's a good day for me if I end up with like 80 new pictures in my camera roll. I took too many selfies. Please stare at them. (⊙ω⊙)!!
