     We're getting to the good stuff now (yay)!  This was still some time ago, but I've been waiting to share these pics with you guys.  So let's get into it!  I had the full day to run around the city with Katie!

     * Point :  Playboy bunny necklace~  {This was very much during my 2000's boom.  The outfit is giving Britney Spears to me, hence the title (¬‿¬ ).}

        

     Ah yes, this would be my second attempt at the "everyday Gal" look with no lower false lashes.  I don't know if I would rate this attempt higher than the first . . . But anyway, I went for the namida bukuro makeup again.  I'm very fond of it!  Biggest difference from the first attempt is that I did a "cat eye" wing instead of "puppy eye".  I think I like this shape more with no lower false lashes.

Definitely would have benefited from thicker eyeliner under the eyes . . . 

Oi let's move on (lol).

     Katie and I did what we do best . . . shop (lol).  But not before eating lunch and catching up!

     I suggested Banh Mi Boys so Katie could experience bánh mì for the first time.  For any who don't know, bánh mì is a Vietnamese dish.  In New Orleans it's fondly called the Vietnamese Po'boy.  Po'boys are French bread sandwiches that are typically dressed in tomato, lettuce, pickles, and mayo with your choice of fried seafood.  A bánh mì has different flavors because it's dressed in daikon, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeños and pickled carrots.  But both are DELICIOUS!  If you're ever in New Orleans, you should try them!  Ok, back to our playday! 

     We started our shopping on Magazine St. where there's lots of shops.  Katie tried to tempt me into a tattoo shop (it didn't work lol).  We didn't find anything good there so we drove to our true weakness, Ulta Beauty.  Per usual, we spent FOREVER in there!  At some point in the night we got ice cream before we called it quits.  

Let's get into the goodies I got!

     I've become more concerned with my skin's condition and appearance lately.  I'm a bit insecure about my undereye area, so I picked up eye patches (plus they're hello kitty~).  And I got new serums from The Ordinary :  Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide.  Influenced by Sei, I got the e.l.f putty primer.  Grabbed their brow lift too!  

     Confession time, I'm terrible with washing my brushes.  I just neglect caring for them.  I bought some liquid brush cleanser hoping to start using my stylepro again.  Things were so much easier then!

     My biggest expense that day was Anastasia's cream bronzer.  Chasing the idea that liquid products aren't my friend anymore, I've turned to cream products.  Hence the new brush to apply and blend my "concealer".  I won't lie, it's been a struggle to get things right.  The girlies say brushes are in and sponges are out ( = ⩊ = ) . . . I feel I've been bamboozled (lol)!

     After winding down from my day of fun, I decided to give myself a little t.l.c ~

     Both were COLD!  (‵﹏´)  But beauty is pain as they say.  The Hello Kitty mask was gifted to me by my friend Stephanie~  Felt nice to pamper myself a bit~

     Since I have not been posting regularly, I've accumulated quite the number of gets over this time.  Some of these have served as great purchases!  Others, not so much . . . 

     Lush, my greatest weakness!  I've been pairing Sympathy for the Skin with my fruity fragrances.

     Tried the Huda's #fauxfilter concealer.  It's brags no creasing, it separated so badly on me I returned both of them.  The Glossier cloud paint has been nice though!  I didn't have a true red blush (to my knowledge).

     My sister fell victim to tiktok persuasion (lmao).  She wanted this mascara and I noticed costco had a three pack for a really good price.  I LOVE IT!

     This was the first time I came across the Black Radiance eyeliner.  It's dual ended, very dark, and inexpensive!  I just went all in with the drugstore cosmetics this day.  Decided to try out a few Milani products.  I've heard a lot of good things about the "Make it Last" setting powder (so far I can say it's very good for touch ups at the very least).  The cream to powder foundation . . . idk where I was going with that purchase but again, good for touch ups OR for light makeup days.  The lipsticks were silly buys to entertain my boyfriend (lol).  They were like $1 each and he really wanted to see what gold lipstick looks like on me.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
